We all have good intentions to stick with Bible study plans at home, yet distractions provide one reason after another to postpone. Participating in a Bible study within a small group has a dynamic you cannot reproduce on your own. As you participate in discussion and share ideas, you take advantage of interaction.

Catholic Bible studies are an important way of understanding the Catholic faith. The more we can understand the inspired writings in the books of the Bible, the more we understand the beliefs, celebrations and rituals of our faith.

For information on upcoming studies or to volunteer, please contact the parish office.

The Pascal Mystery and Suffering with Deacon Eric Gurash

The Spiritual Enrichment committee will be hosting another Faith & Fellowship event. Join us for a faith-enriching evening as Deacon Eric Gurash reflects on the heart of our Christian faith: the Paschal Mystery. This event will take place on Thursday, February 29 from 6:30 to 8:30pm in the upper meeting room.

Deacon Gurash will delve into the depths of the Paschal Mystery as discovered within Scripture and our human experience. He will shed light on the Paschal Mystery's connection to human suffering, offering perspectives from Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Saint John Paul II. All are welcome to attend this engaging journey into the foundational aspects of our Christian belief, touching upon themes of redemption, resurrection, and the transformative power of Christ's sacrifice.

Snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be offered. The cost is a freewill offering with proceeds going towards the Raise the Roof initiative. A sign-up sheet will be available outside the hall for registration or contact Pauline at [email protected]. Deadline to register is Sunday, February 25/23. We look forward to seeing you there!
